Title: Mistletoe
Fandom: CSI: NY
Claim: None
Status: Complete
Rating: PG
Summary: Someone's put a surprise in the lab.
Warnings: None.
Lindsay wasn’t sure who had put the mistletoe up in the lab – she could rule out Mac, certainly, but other than that, she really didn’t have any evidence. It could have been Danny, who would have probably tried to lure her under it, or Hawkes, if he was feeling mischevious, or Sid, though she’d peg him more as the type to wear it.
She could rule out Flack as well, she thought, noting how red his ears were turning. Not that her cheeks weren’t red – she was, after all, standing under it with him as Hawkes made some joke she didn’t hear and Stella ran off for her camera.
“We’ve got to do this before she gets back and gets photographic evidence,” he said with a groan and Lindsay laughed. If it had been anyone but Flack making the statement, she might have been a bit hurt at the person not wanting a picture with her. Flack hated having his picture taken, though, right up there with being embarrassed in front of people, and Lindsay couldn’t help but be amused at his predicament.
“You’re right,” she agreed, using his tie to pull his lips down to hers for a quick kiss.
They broke apart, still red, as Stella came back into the break room with a camera normally reserved for crime scenes. “You couldn’t wait?”
